There are several laws that come into play.  These include the Colorado Wage Claim Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Equal Pay Act.  As an employee (or former employee), you should promptly seek legal advice if your company owes you money.  Failing to act promptly could cause you to miss out on penalties and attorney fees.
